Downtown Fargo's Boiler Room shifting its focus - InForum | Fargo, Moorhead and West Fargo news, weather and sports
FARGO — The Boiler Room's days as a downtown restaurant are numbered, but it's not disappearing completely.
That's according to a post on the eatery's Facebook page, which stated the business's last day with full menu service will be Saturday, March 15, with Sunday being the Boiler Room's final weekend offering a brunch buffet.

"Beginning Tuesday, March 18, we will be offering the same great cocktail service we always have and we will also be introducing some fun new bar snacks to keep the munchies at bay during your time with us," the posting noted, adding that if patrons have scheduled private parties or other reservations the Broiler Room team will be reaching out to talk about options.
"It has been our absolute pleasure serving everyone who came our way for dinner over the last 11 years. We do hope to see you when you are downtown next — just know that it will be a little different than the last time you stopped in!" the posting concluded.
The Boiler Room opened in early 2014 in the lower level of 210 Roberts Alley in the Loretta Building, which had just completed a renovation at the time.
The Boiler Room owners said at the time they were looking to bridge the gap between traditional bar food and upscale dining, while also offering breakfast and expanded hours.
Attempts to reach someone connected with The Boiler Room for comment were not successful at the time this story was published.
New hours have been posted on the door of the business: Sunday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.; Monday and Tuesday, closed; Wednesday and Thursday, 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.; Friday, 4 p.m. to 11 p.m.; and Saturday 9 a.m. to 11 p.m.
