A LED light sold at national retailer Five Below has been recalled following numerous reports of burns caused by an overheating power switch cord. According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission, the recall impacts 29,000 Room2Room LED Iridescent Bear Lights.

The bear lights were sold at Five Below locations throughout the U.S. and online from September 2024 through February 2025 for around $12. The lights are 7.5 inches tall by 9.3 inches wide, and have a USB plug with an on/off switch. The model number “LD-0030” is located on a sticker on the bottom of the bear and the UPC code “1922340368444” can be found on the bottom of the packaging.

The firm has received 28 reports of the USB cord overheating and melting. Six reports of burns to fingers have been received, along with two reports of property damage involving burns to a wall and a headboard.

Anyone who has one of the recalled lights is encouraged to stop use immediately. Those with a recalled light may return them to any Five Below store or contact Five Below customer service for a full refund. If you do not return the item in person, you will need to submit a photo of the light with the power cord cut. A receipt is not necessary to receive a full refund.

For more information, contact Five Below at 1-844-452-3569 from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. EST Monday through Friday or visit the recall website.
